In recent years, digital technology has allowed the traditional culture to expose to the public in a creative digital format. Virtual museum exhibitions and digitized culture products are the top two trends. The #DigitalCollectibles are currently popular mediums to convey the traditional culture in the form of contemporary digital art over time and space.
New-Pictures, the subsidiary under Hylink Digital Solutions, recently has been authorized to distribute the digital collectibles of art and culture from Emperor Qin’s Mausoleum Site Museum.
As the exclusive agency responsible for the e-commerce business of the Museums (Emperor Qin), New-Pictures has been dedicated to developing and researching the traditional culture as the core of the brand and deeply exploring the Chang’an culture. Based on the long and rich Qin culture and amount of collections from the Emperor Qin museums, New-Pictures aims to digitize the traditional Chinese culture and promote the prosperity of Chinese traditional civilization to the world.
At present, New-Pictures accomplished and kept working on the digital artworks including the digital reprint of Chariot Model, digital creative illustration of 3 Treasures from Qin Dynasty (Kneeling Warrior, Chariot Model, Bronze Crane), the digital long scroll of The Reed, etc. The completed digital pieces are currently in contact with the first-tier digital collectible platforms and will launch soon. More cultural heritage will be planned to add into the digital pieces and face the world in the future.
Besides the corporations specializing in the cultural industry, Chinese tech companies also proactively entered the field of digital collectibles. In China, many tech giants launch their platforms for digital collectibles. Alipay offered museum collectables powered through Ant’s Jingtan platform; Tencent launched Huanhe app, an NFT trading platform and Lingxi is JD’s digital collection trading platform.
