The organising committee for the 24th Olympic Games 2022 in Beijing has appointed Hylink as its communications consultant. China's largest digital marketing agency will take over the global management of communications for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, bringing its strengths in creativity, strategy, content creation and PR to the table.
"We are very proud to support the Beijing Winter Olympics Organising Committee internationally with our communication services. As a communications group based in China and with a global service network, Hylink will help bring China's Olympic spirit to the world and once again inspire with the Olympic Games," explains Su Tong, CEO of Hylink.
Previously, Hylink was already on board the Olympic team as the official communications agency for the local market in China. Now, international communications including strategic image building, media and public relations around Beijing 2022 are in one hand worldwide - with the overarching goal of promoting Chinese winter sports culture and disseminating content globally.
"We are looking forward to working with Hylink, which has many years of experience in public relations. Together with Hylink, we want to contribute to the success of the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games," says Pilar Jiménez, CEO of Mediapro China and Asia. "Mediapro brings over 25 years of experience in providing management and support for major events. In doing so, we leverage our network of 58 offices and technical resources worldwide to maximise the communication of the Beijing Winter Olympics outside of China."
